Shares of Navitas Semiconductor (NVTS) experienced a dramatic surge of up to 25% during Wednesday’s trading session following the company’s announcement regarding its partnership with NVIDIA’s MGX™ Ecosystem, aimed at revolutionizing 800 VDC AI infrastructure solutions.
Navitas Semiconductor Corporation, NVTS
By midday, the stock maintained gains of approximately 19%, pushing its year-to-date performance to an impressive 262%.
On May 29th, Navitas took part in NVIDIA’s Partner Ceremony held at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center, where it joined a collective of ecosystem collaborators dedicated to developing next-generation AI data centers utilizing 800 VDC rack infrastructure.
The company’s major product reveal occurred at COMPUTEX 2026, which took place from June 2nd to 5th in Taipei. At NVIDIA’s AI Factory MGX™ Ecosystem Showcase, Navitas presented its groundbreaking 800V-to-6V DC-DC power delivery platform.
This innovative board eliminates the conventional 48V intermediate bus converter stage typically found in compute server trays—a strategic engineering decision that enables more compact and efficient server configurations.
Technical Specifications and Performance
The power delivery platform incorporates 16 GaNFast FETs with 650V ratings and 11 mOhms resistance. The system is designed to reach 97.5% peak efficiency while operating at a 1 MHz switching frequency and delivering an impressive 2,100 W/in³ power density.
Regarding physical dimensions: the board’s profile is approximately 20% slimmer than a typical smartphone. This represents a significant advantage in data center environments where space optimization and thermal management are critical concerns.
According to CEO Chris Allexandre, power delivery has emerged as “one of the most critical challenges in enabling next-generation gigawatt AI factories” as artificial intelligence workloads continue expanding.
In addition to gallium nitride technology, Navitas also offers silicon carbide solutions. The company’s GeneSiC SiC product line includes solid-state transformers utilizing 2300V and 3300V SiC power modules, alongside high-capacity three-phase power supply units powered by Generation 5 1200V SiC MOSFETs.
Market Performance and Valuation Metrics
The stock’s average daily trading volume hovers around 30.3 million shares. As of Wednesday’s session, market capitalization reached $6.04 billion.
Technical analysis indicators point to a Buy rating, while the year-to-date gain of 262% positions NVTS among the top-performing semiconductor stocks in 2026.
With COMPUTEX continuing through June 5th, Navitas remains in the industry spotlight for the week ahead.
