Amazon’s corporate sales division has surpassed the $60 billion mark in annualized revenue, the retail giant announced Monday, facilitating delivery of over half a billion orders year-to-date. AMZN stock experienced a decline of approximately 0.75% during trading.
This achievement represents significant progress for a business segment that currently services over 11 million corporate entities spanning 11 countries, including 97 members of the Fortune 100. The platform onboarded more than 1.8 million new business accounts during just the first six months of 2026.
Shelley Salomon, Amazon’s VP overseeing the Worldwide Amazon Business division, attributed the expansion to a clear market demand: organizations seeking efficiency gains.
“We’re developing innovative solutions to help them reduce expenses and save time—enabling them to channel resources back into business expansion,” she explained.
The platform’s product catalog has grown by roughly 30% worldwide throughout this year. Recently added categories encompass maintenance tools, perishable food items, and commercial furniture, with the majority of new offerings sourced from third-party merchants.
The financial benefits are substantial. According to Amazon, specialized business pricing delivered more than $1 billion in worldwide customer savings during 2025. Prime Business subscribers realized additional savings exceeding $880 million through reduced shipping charges.
Technology and Supply Chain Enhancements
The retail giant has deployed advanced technology to sustain this growth trajectory. Newly implemented AI-powered features assist account holders with expenditure tracking, identify anomalous transactions, and highlight cost-saving possibilities before opportunities expire.
Regarding distribution infrastructure, Amazon has deployed specialized delivery fleets across 13 states. These compressed natural gas-powered vehicles are specifically designed for business-to-business deliveries, offering scheduled delivery windows and accommodating palletized bulk shipments directly to loading areas and mail centers.
Prime Business Program Expansion
The company unveiled an enhanced benefits portfolio for Prime Business subscribers. Through new collaborations with CrowdStrike, Gusto, and QuickBooks, members gain discounted access to enterprise solutions covering cybersecurity protection, payroll processing, and procurement oversight.
According to Amazon’s estimates, the aggregate value of these software discounts could generate annual savings approaching $1,100 for small and medium-sized enterprises.
Additionally, the company incorporated reduced-cost access to Amazon Quick within the upgraded Prime Business membership tier.
The B2B division maintains operations in 11 countries while steadily expanding its third-party vendor network, which accounts for a substantial portion of the new product assortment introduced throughout 2026.
